Literature that bites back!

Dog Horn Publishing is an independent publishing house set up to produce cutting-edge literature and to bring our bold, trend-setting work to the world.

Dog Horn Publishing publishes and markets limited edition, original fiction. The company was set up in 2004 by Ellis France, with only one author and a team of volunteers. Our first novel (Lucy’s Monster by R. L. Royle) was released April 29th 2006, our second (Eleven Terrible Months by R. L. Royle) was recently released on October 27th 2007. Dog Horn is now proud to unleash the decadent mayhem of our new literary magazine Polluto: The Anti-Pop Culture Journal, out now direct from our shop.

The team here at Dog Horn Publishing are passionate, knowledgeable and deadly serious about the publishing house we have created and the industry we are in. You will come to know us and realise that we go about our business with humour and flair. We are aware that this is unheard of in these days of grey suits and po-faces, but we are a happy (READ: alcoholic) bunch who have followed our dreams to create this business. So why not show it?

It is a well known fact that the major players in the publishing industry today are under immense pressure to harvest mass book sales. Here at Dog Horn this pressure doesn’t apply to us as all our books are only original, limited editions. Enormous sales are not what we’re about; we’re about bringing something different, something vibrant, to your bookshelf. Our books are unique and great care has gone into the design and layout of each and every one. But be warned <crack of thunder and flash of lightening>, when the books sell out, they sell out, so if you want to snap up an original from Dog Horn make sure you get in there
. . . before it's too late <evil laughter>.

But seriously, we know we have stumbled across something special and those that are joining us are finding that out too.
